Brianna “Brie Bella” Danielson, of WWE’s Bella Twins, has been learning to navigate life as a new mom after the birth of her first child, daughter Birdie. Even before parenthood, Danielson and husband Bryan practiced sustainable living, believing in animal-friendly consumption, promoting local products, and even raising their own garden. Now raising a child, the Phoenix-based family makes health and wellness a top priority.
“The First Forty Days: The Essential Art of Nourishing the New Mother,” by Heng Ou, is one of Danielson’s new-mom finds. The book focuses on post-pregnancy recovery and healing, both physically and emotionally. Danielson swears by the text, which provides 60 postpartum recipes to help mothers relax, rehabilitate, and replenish the mind, body, and spirit.
Here's the book I was talking about on my YouTube channel. Honestly the best book for becoming a mother. #TheFirstFortyDays by Heng Ou A shoutout to all that have helped me….if you live in Phoenix area I recommend these amazing women!! @sunshinedoulaservices @azbreastfedbabies @hellobabyaz @julesthedoula @msunshine12 #drMaryDeka
Though motherhood is new to Danielson, working in the kitchen is not. As a vegetarian, Danielson has become innovative with mealtime, documenting her cooking creativity with YouTube video tutorials. In Chef Brie’s Kitchen, the new mom delivers easy, organic dish how-to’s and for the whole family.
Baby Birdie will soon require most of the Danielsons’ attention, but that will not stop them from maintaining an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The family has begun using the Vestry food service, which delivers healthy, vegan meals made from organic plants to the house.
