The New York Giants released wide receiver Victor Cruz Monday, ESPN reports. Cruz, who was with the organization since 2010 when they signed him as an undrafted free agent,  had nothing but positive things to say about his time there. He said in a statement it feels like leaving family, but he looks fondly on his time there.

“There are so many experiences, times and moments that I shared in that building with that team in that jersey,” Cruz said. “Those can’t be replaced or forgotten. I’m happy I have those moments to look back on.”

Giants general manager Jerry Reese also had positive things to say:

“Victor is one of the great stories of the National Football League. He came in here and earned everything that he’s gotten. It has been amazing to see him grow from an undrafted free agent to a Pro Bowl player and one of our go-to guys during the Super Bowl XLVI run. He will always be one of the great Giants.”

While Giants fans mourn this loss, one thing they can look to is Instagram. Off the field Cruz has claimed his stake in the fashion game and definitely one we love to watch. Check out how you can recreate the free agent’s “LA uniform” below.
