Marshawn Lynch isn’t just making the rounds in Hollywood so he won’t get fined.
The retired Seattle Seahawks running back’s relationship with the press has consisted of a mix of silence, unfiltered comments and overall reluctance to speak to journalists. His relationship with Hollywood, however, has been a lot more positive.
Lynch is set to appear on the Jan. 30 episode of “Diesel Brothers,” on the heels of his appearance as himself–and quite possibly the worst witness ever–on an episode of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at the beginning of January.
His two 2017 TV spots are the continuation of his budding TV beginnings, which started back in 2013 with an appearance in a low-budget movie called “Matt’s Chance.” Lynch upped the ante with two guest spots on the FX show “The League,” one of which aired right after the Seahawks loss to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Lynch also sat down with late-night comedian Conan O’Brien on four occasions, and appeared on an episode of Animal Planet reality series “Tanked” in 2015.
In September 2016, Lynch joined Bear Grylls on an episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” for a memorable appearance where they hunted and cooked a wild hog in the French mountains.
All we know is that if his TV career is anything like his time on the field, it’ll be Beast Mode all the way.
