If you are headed down to New Orleans for NBA All Star Weekend, or still making your way to Scottsdale for Spring training, we have everything you need to know make the most of your sports vacation.

New Orleans All Star Weekend Feb. 17-19

This weekend is sure to be a crazy one. Official events include the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, Verizon’s Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday and of course  Sunday’s 66th NBA All-Star Game.

At night, experience the NOLA going out scene. There will be parties hosted by the likes of Jim Jones and Safaree to celebrate the weekend.

But, you didn’t come all this way just for basketball.

Catch a Mardi Gras parade.

While it isn’t officially Mardi Gras until Feb. 28. You can still see parades all through the weekend.

Eat a Beignet.

Cafe Du Monde is a must do while in the French Quarter. Do not miss out on this famous eatery.  

Stay at a fabulous hotel.

Live like the All-Stars for the weekend and stay at The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria hotel, or any of the Conde Nast Traveller NOLA recommendations.

Scottsdale Spring Training Feb. 14-21

Baseball fans, get ready. Spring training is here and you don’t want to miss it. Catch all of your favorite team’s and player’s practices, and scope out who you think will come out on top this season.

While you are in Arizona see what else Scottsdale has to offer.

The teams will be split up at different stadiums. Make sure to see as many as you can. Check out this map.
