PRODAY

Sometimes, working out alone can be a challenge. Without a partner to share in the exercise agony, and to motivate when the last few minutes of a workout seem impossible, fitness can be a drag. Professional athletes know better than anyone that working out can be the worst. They also show, however, that breaking a sweat is better when couples do it together. Below, check out four athlete couples who tackle exercising in tandem, giving a new definition to power couple!

  1. Shawn Johnson & Andrew East – World champion and Olympic gold-medal gymnast Shawn Johnson has maintained many abilities from her competition days. Her husband, Andrew East, who has played long snapper for multiple NFL teams, matches her athleticism. From the hiking trails to the training facility, the couple certainly elevates each other’s heart rate.
