Last year, Cleveland Cavaliers Kevin Love began to endorse Banana Republic’s men’s collection.  Now, Love is joined by Atlanta Falcons quarterback and 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan, New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorious, and Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum as ambassadors for the brand.

The four professional athletes make up Banana Republic’s first Men’s Style Council, a group that will display the versatility, practicality, and style of the brand’s menswear collection.

In a Gap Inc. press release, Banana Republic senior vice president of global merchandising and digital Lexi Tawes said: “The Men’s Style Council showcases some of the most dynamic and stylish athletes in sports today who exemplify the spirit of the men’s collections we are designing at Banana Republic. Our customers admire the individual style of each accomplished player on and off the field and court. We are honored to work with these celebrated athletes and extend their personal style through our men’s collections as they make each look their own.”

Kicking off the quad’s campaign, the athletes will launch the Banana Republic Rapid Movement Chino, a pant designed for comfort and performance. The chinos’ technology is formulated to resist stretching out, maintaining its tailored structure while allowing for movement.
