The Obamas said goodbye to the White House with an intimate gathering with a few friends–and by that we mean it was an star-studded bash filled with A-lister celebs and athletes.
NBA Hall of Famers Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley and their spouses came out for the final celebration at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Samuel L. Jackson, one of basketball’s biggest fans, also partied the night away.

“Scandal” star Kerry Washington and her husband, former NFL cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, were also in attendance.
Last night. 3:30am. Leaving the White House after a beautiful afternoon and a surreal night. I'm so proud to have served in this administration. So thrilled to have witnessed this history. It's the end of The Obama White House but the beginning of a new journey to stand up for hope and progress and inclusivity. #ObamaOut
Stars including Usher, Stevie Wonder, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, George and Amal Clooney, Robert De Niro, Chance the Rapper and more made their way to the District to bid the Obamas farewell before they leave the White House.
President Obama called the affair a “kind of a grown-up party” before he departs office, in an interview with People last month.
The bash was the Obamas’ last before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20. Many of the stars in attendance at the party also participated in a touching farewell video for President Obama, including basketball legend Michael Jordan.
