With fall just beginning, David Beckham gives menswear aficionados something to look forward to wearing this season with his Kent & Curwen Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
In a moody, noir campaign that echoes the photography style of his son Brooklyn, Beckham models a nautically-inspired peacoat, a leather-detailed jacket, and a popped-collar pinstripe suit jacket.
As a co-owner of the nearly century-old brand, Beckham originally partnered with Kent & Curwen last fall to revive its sales performance while maintaining its traditions.
“With my inclusion into the brand and this project, I wanted to bring it back to its roots,” Beckham told Vogue.com. “Keep the history and heritage, but take it on, too.”
The history that Beckham refers to is the brand’s use of the Three Lion logo and the English rose. The heritage lies in the often striped designs championed by everyone from the British military, to British rugby teams, to British schoolchildren.
