Mixed martial artist Joanna Jędrzejczyk, better known to some as “Joanna Champion,” is the current UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion. She also holds the consensus #1 female strawweight, and #1 pound-for-pound female MMA fighter in the world. As the #8 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC mixed gender rankings, she is the top female on the list.

With all of the female fighter’s accolades, any athlete would wonder what Jędrzejczyk does to achieve such success.  Among training sessions and natural talent, she uses Perfecting Athletes nutrition services.

Perfecting Athletes is a advising service that energizes athletes through balancing hormones via nutrition to optimize performance. Co-founded by a Chinese medicine practitioner and a former martial artist, the system is more than just a meal plan. Customers can also receive a personal consultation, customized meals, weekly check-ups, and acupuncture services, among other Chinese-basd healing techniques.

For Jędrzejczyk, though, the women of Perfecting Athletes serve beyond nutrition. From regulating her sleep cycle, to fielding media inquiries, to providing a home for the Polish fighter, the two help Jędrzejczyk be the champion that she is today.

Over her custom breakfast, Jędrzejczyk has daily discussions with the Perfecting Athletes team that lead to water bottle notes that motivate her through each day. When she returns after training, the women are there to prepare her dinner and help her decompress.

Records are broken far away from the lights – History is made while no one is watching.

Even though Perfecting Athletes invests a great deal in Jędrzejczyk, it is used by countless other UFC fighters. The company has also published two nutrition manuals, available on their website, so that even if an interested client cannot afford the system’s full-time services, he or she can still access the success of Perfecting Athletes.
