Floyd Mayweather is talking about taking his talents to the UFC. Well, Floyd, let me throw a suggestion your way. Before you enter the octagon, how about testing your MMA skills virtually with EA Sports UFC 3? Launched in early February, the game brings a whole slew of new features.
“We’ve completely reinvented our striking game with Real Player Motion Tech, and we think fans are really going to love it,” said EA SPORTS UFC 3 Creative Director, Brian Hayes, in a statement. “We’ve also incorporated a lot of fan feedback in the new G.O.A.T. Career mode, and throughout the whole game. It’s great to be back after two years working on this amazing game.”

RPM tech means more realistic movements from fighters during gameplay. Each action, whether it be an elbow, punch, kick, etc. can be performed standing or moving. Make sure you’re staying within range, however, or your approach will come up empty.
The G.O.A.T. career mode lets you make crucial decisions extending outside of the octagon. How will you promote yourself? Are you going to act a fool at press conferences? Keep it cool? Each decision will impact how you’re remembered by UFC fans. Your business acumen will be tested just as much as your physical skills.
UFC 3 also features a wide slate of new multiplayer modes. Square up against friends in high-stakes fights while Snoop Dogg brings the commentary. The new Tournament mode will let you take on different opponents in a bracket-style competition.
Want in on the action? UFC 3 is now available for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Heck, you might even be able to unlock some secret characters…
